What's the Haps?!

Here's the Haps!
Abigail is sitting up better, but still needs a little support. She loves to chew and handle things while she sits. Abbi lays on her tummy and grabs her feet now...so cute, its my favorite!
She also has figured out how to get out of her blankets after being wrapped up. This means that sleep does not happen as much. Although, she sleeps much better during the day now. Naps tend to go well. The night time sleeping starts out with about an hour or two of good sleep, then she wakes up, wiggles like a maniac and quickly finds herself out of her blankets
with hands and feet both in the air waving like she is conducting an orchestra. This would be fine, cute even, if it wasn't 9 or 11 at night! Abigail was also sick this past week. She had a tiny little fever, but some narly painful coughs. Eli gave her blessing and she is as happy as ever...unless she has to cough, then all the yuck comes up and of course, no one likes to cough like that! Abbi gets compliments galore everywhere we go. She is such a great baby, as long as she is not supposed to be sleeping. Obivously Abigail is very social, and giggles and smiles for everyone! (and tries to get away with not sleeping in hopes that she can have more smiles with her parents, who sometimes just can't resist! But she mostly gets a pacifier instead of a parent)

 Say cheese!
Notice her soaking wet shirt. This is pretty much unavoidable with how much this babe slobbers!
 Playing with her toes
This was how we found Abbi one morning...yes, she is still asleep!! She (for whatever reason) likes to arch her back and cock her head back. She sneaked out of her blankets silently during the night. This seems pretty uncomfortable, but whatever. She still slept!
Chillin in her bouncy chair. With a bib, of course.
She loves to reach out for things. Micah, she loves her zebra, its on her carseat and I hear the little spring going all the time. She has some strong arms. So strong that they can get out of any kind of swaddling we have tried!
 sittin with dad
 Drool face!
 Drunk face!
"I just have one thing to say" face!
Silly face!! this is the mobiwrap that we use to hold abbi with.
 Playing with blocks
This would be how she usually sleeps. All tucked in and wrapped up! If you notice, her knees fly open and she sleeps in coblers pose with her feet together and ankles crossed. Cute!
Sitting on the couch, looking pretty tired.
This is Abigail after her usual 2 hours of night time sleep...she woke up, ate, was put back to bed, but wiggled and tossed until finally mom decided to wrap her with arms out! hmm... we'll see what happens!

  1. I love the drunk face. And the "I have just one thing to say" face (ah, the good old days when David Martinez would ask permission to say just one thing. haha). And I also love the fact that despite your not wanting pink things for Abbi, she is wearing pink in 12 out of the 14 pictures you posted of her. ??? Nicki and I were loving these pictures today. (Me for the 3rd or 4th time, Nicki for the 1st time...) I miss you guys! XOXO.
