Well time flies by and all of a sudden Nora was a month old! 2 weeks after she was born Eli was sent to work in Salt Lake. So we girls drove down for a few days each week to see him. While we were there Abigail had her 2 yr birthday on Sept. 5th.
Some things that Abigail likes at 2 yrs are:
Puzzles
Books
Doing things on her own
Pushing her stroller and baby, and her shopping cart full of food
Not sleeping(doesn't nap at all anymore....eeerrrr!)
Putting 3 to 5 words together to make sentences
Singing, especially I'm a child of god, row row row your boat, wheels on the bus, itsy bitsy spider
Can say #s 1-10, but skips 6 everytime, still
Loves the alphabet and can identify some letters
Learning colors
Knows basic shapes
Loves her sister nora
Stickers
Ice cream and chocolate (which she apparently decided should be called choc. She says "abbi have choc, mama please choc"! Haha.
She was also very aware that when its birthday time we eat cake. We told her on her birthday that it was abigail's birthday today and that she was turning 2. First response was "Abbi eat choc cake!?" We laughed and said sure, why not, and went and bought a chocolate ice cream cake. She ate a huge piece!
While we visited Salt Lake we also went to Ikea for the first time and spent 5 and a half hours there. Abigail loved playing in their showcase rooms and with all the awesome toys.
We also found a stream and went on a small walk in Cottonwood Canyon.
On Sept. 17th we blessed Nora at our new house in Shelley. All our family came and crammed into our little space. It was fun, and special for us to be able to have everyone over in our own home blessing our baby. Thanks for everyone coming and sharing special times like that with us, we love you!
